Well Connected Communities

In 2016, people with mental ill health told us what it was like to live in rural areas. They said that they need a supportive community, and that it’s really important for them to connect in “low-level”, non-clinical ways that work for them, ideally close to where they live. This would enable them to connect with others pre-crisis.

We want to find out more about this, so we need your thoughts and ideas too. You will then be able to help us see how support can be designed and delivered in rural parts of Scotland.  This is Phase 1 of a project, and based on what we find out, we are hoping to move to a Phase 2, where some ideas can be tested in rural Scotland.

Please complete the online survey using this link https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/WYF3TXN

All your answers will be treated totally confidentially and cannot be traced back to you. We will not disclose any personal details. We will not give away your precise location. When we pull people’s answers together, we will simply group the findings under similar ages, genders, approximate geographical area etc. so that we can see what people are suggesting as the main ideas and ways forward.

If you have any questions about this, please feel free to contact RHalley@supportinmindscotland.org.uk.

Many thanks in advance for taking the time to answer these questions.

Survey Closing Date Friday the 2nd of March 2018.
