Dawn joined Shire Housing Association in March 2016 as a Clerical Assistant before progressing to the role of Customer Service Assistant. She moved onto the Allocations section where she allocated properties throughout East Ayrshire. She later secured a Housing Assistant position where she supported the Housing Officer but also continued with allocations. She has recently taken on a part-time Housing Officer role.
In her current position, Dawn has a broad range of responsibilities, including rent recovery, allocations, financial inclusion, estate management, tenancy management and anti-social behaviour matters. Throughout her time with the Association, she has demonstrated a strong commitment to professional development, achieving both CIH Level 3 and Level 4 qualifications in Housing.
Prior to joining Shire Housing Association, Dawn worked for East Ayrshire Council, where she began her career at the age of 16 as a skillseeker. Over the following 12 years, she progressed through a variety of roles, gaining valuable experience, particularly within the Waste Management Service.
